Happiness is a state of your mind and not the state of luxuries of your life. Everyone thinks once I get "this" I will be happy.. It starts from getting good grades in school, getting admission in best degree college, best job, big fat salary, big houses, best car etc. Even in relationships people attach happiness or being complete with getting married. I too had my good days and bad days in my life.. But I feel that so far I have learned to be happy with whatever I have or whatever I dont have.. As soon as you know someone from outside you find that their life is perfect and beautiful.. When you go little closer you get to know real problems of their life. How is it possible that almost everyone on this earth has problems/issues.. Listening to other people's problems has made me realize importance of my happiness(state of my mind). From my maid to a close friend who has all luxuries and is multi millionaire everyone has issues.. Stop expecting from your lives.. And start living... Everyday cant be a holiday and everyday cant be a hectic day at work.. My dad used to tell me, you should be so strong that nothing shakes you from within... And story of Anandi Kagdo(Happy Crow).. This is a famous short story in Gujarati.. Where Crow is always happy in whichever situation it is.. Life is so beautiful.. Go and paint your day beautifully.. Paint your life with beautiful drawings.. Learn to forgive.. As soon as you wake up feel the sense of positivity and happiness.. And try to make it more meaningful.. Todays issues wont be relavant at all 5 years down the line.. Sometimes we search something in the entire world but at the end the answer is within you.. ☺☺

Happiness is a state of mind, a choice, a way of living; it is not something to be achieved, it is something to be experienced.

"Today's issues wont be relevant at all 5 years down the line" is such a profound line! I try to recall this whenever I find myself in the soup :)
